A Study on Comfort Zone of Thermal Environment |
| Abstract |
The study on the thermal environment in Korea is relatively new issue in the research on the physical environment and the authorized criteria or standards have not been established.This paper is concentrated on the proposed criteria for the application in Korea through examination of national and foreign works on the thermal environment.The conclusions are as follows;1. I propose to take ISO 7730 as national criteria for the thermal comfort environment.2. The comfort zone of the floor panel heating in the traditional Korean residence(Ondol)is when activity<1.2 met, 0.7-0.8 cloto=23.5+_2 CThrough the Korean clothing habit, the standard seasonal clo values are to be established. |
