Abstract This paper is to describe the theoretical investigation on hysteretic behavior of R/C beams under cyclic loadings. In this study, Layer Model was used and analytical results were compared with test results which were obtained in previous experimental study to examine the applicability of this method.To derive hysteretic Load-Deflection relationship of R/C beams. Moment-Curvature relation was evaluated using stress-strain curve for steel proposed by Brown, et al. and that of concrete proposed by kent and Park. Also F.D.M.(Finite Differential Method)was adopted to derive Load-Deflection curve from acquired Moment-Curvature relationship.
