| Abstract |
By means of actual case studies, the analysis of the contents and design methods of the legal urban design based on the building code, article no.8-2, have been first analyzed. Based on the above analysis, the merit and demerit of the current status of urban design system have been thoroughly examined and the desired direction of the improvements of the system has been studied.This study includes the concepts, characteristics, methods, contents analysis of the urban design and the case study of Seoul and of other forign cities. The analysis has been carried by examining the domestic and foreign reports concerning the urban design and planning, and by visiting actual places where the urban design projects are in progress. |
