Abstract Natural ventilation is a type of control methods for harmful air in rooms. But the air streams are changed by several conditions, and we have to know such a present state, The air condition which is presented by changes of model length or outer wind speed of the room is experimented by this study concretely.Their model forms belong to hexahedron cuboid and their forface area is 50x50(cm) squares. The length is four kinds:They are 1, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5times of the forface.The models have two windows at center of opposite wall in order to be the cross ventilation, and the window's size is 1/4 of the wall area.The findings are as follows.1) The relation between the outer wind speed and the average wind speed in the room is in the relation of linearal proportion generally.2) The rooms have wind shadow with vortex after inflow, therefore, the part of inflow is worse on distribution of air speed or air direction than that near out open. And X=6~7 is the best3) If models's length becomes long, distribution of air speed in room is decreased slowly.
