A Study on the Urban Environment in Korea by Multivarite Analysis |
| Abstract |
Recent studies have suggested that the quality of the urban environment should be based on the urban developement for equillibrium. For the purpose, this study is to analyze 28 indicators of the urban environment of 40 cities in Korea in 1981 and 1986, by mutivariate analysis. Urban environment of 40 cities is effected by the quality of dwelling environment factors more than amenity factors of urban.According to the overall factors, the level of urban environment of 40 cities was compartively improved, but the relative disparity of inter-urban grown wores and the absolute disparity was relieved. |
