A Study on the Architectural Planning of the Probability of Open School by Reorganizing Elementary School Facilities |
Abstract |
By the basic architectural viewpoint of the fact that as a place of education schools must be able to copy with the contents and methods of education the demand for reorganization of preccent elementary schools through reappraisal are necessary due to the following problems.1) Customary educational methods have problems in the respect of object achievement corresponding with the changing concepts of education. 2) Schools uniformly constructed by standard architectural plan is limiting its contents and methods of education and causing mannerism. 3) Some current private schools are trying educations of individualization with children by leading education system. Hence, the purpose of this research is to apprehend the possibility of 'Open School' which risen as a solution for these problems. And,in order to grope for the school building that can cope with the changing contents and methods of education examinations are made in the aspect of architectural planning by apprehending the methods of teaching, studying, study development, and the study activities which are preferentially occuring in unit learning space along with individual investigations on children. |
