| Abstract |
The object of this study is to research the modern Catholic Architecture after the period of opening a port in DAE Gu region and to find out its architectural types and characteristics.The result can be summarized as follows.1)The types of the modern catholic architecture in DAE Gu region is classified as the style directing Korean traditional architecture, the eclectic style of Korea and the West, and style directing the West.2)The early architecttures of catholic and protestant in DAE Gu region have followed the style directing Korean traditional architecture.3)The protestant architecture has followed the eclectic style of Korea and the West at the beginning of missionary work, But after the 1930's has followed the style directing the West.The catholic architecture has followed the style directing the West after beinning. |
