Abstract |
This paper gives a brief account of problems concerning heat transfer processes in building envelopes especially of different components of radiation, conduction, convection, surface film coefficients, and their influence on the thermal environments. With the newly developed instrument which is composed of three different colored thin metal plates, the characteristics of heat transfer, solar radiation, surface film coefficients can be measured, and we can figure out the thermal properties of building envelopes affected by outdoor weather conditions and the characteristics of heat transfer process on the roof slab. |
