Abstract The purpose of this study is to suggest actual conditions of workers' comfort sensation, characteristics of thermal indoor environment and the graded comfort class based on globe temperature, effective temperature and corrected effective temperature in an office building. The contents of this study are as follows, 1) Spatial distributions of thermal conditions-dry bulb temperature, relative humidity, globe temperature and air velocity-are measured 2) Thermal sensation vote of worker is taken in order to investigate the relation between thermal condition and human thermal sensation 3) The characteristics of thermal indoor environment and the ranges of thermal comfort are analyzed by globe temperature, effective temperature and corrected effective temperature.
