Qualitative Analysis of Two-Storied Rural Houses |
| Abstract |
The emergence of two-storeyed rural houses might be understood as a symbol of modernization of today's Korean rural housing as far as their appearances are concerned. When we take a step further inside the houses, however, one might find that contents in them(i.e.space use in relation to needs) are not necessarily appraisable. To look into those houses in deeper sight, case studies in some rural areas along main arteries in Kyung-buk province have been carried out and analyzed by the authors. |
