| Abstract |
We can find few studies on Korean, Japanese and Chinese architects' activities in Korean Modern Architecture. The opinion that Japan had direct influence on it is widespread. In point of fact, the western countries had primary influence on it, and their architects played a leading role.The westeern architects' role in Seoul is the theme of this study. Their qualification, attitude, situation and circumstances were different and their influence was various. Their activities in the other cities and in North Korea will be researched continuously in the next studies, and this will be moment to clear up the aspect of Korean Modern Architecture. |
