| Abstract |
CHEJUDO which has a special geographic and natural condition and a peculiar tradition has met a new aspect according to general change of society and culture and the upraising of the standard of life.The writer, viewing the disposition and the plan state of the traditional private houses of CHEJUDO in this treatise, has studied the peculiarity of a life pattern of the private house of CHEJUDO according to the conditions of change.The writer, viewing the life pattern into sleeping, eating and producing, described the aspect of the life pattern accdording to each plain peculiarity, and has tried to find out the peculiarity of the life pattern of CHEJUDO.The content has been divided into a background peculiarity and a present circumstances to describe. First of all, the background peculiarity ; First, the style of a traditional living and the view of life pattern according to the modernization are changing.Second, according to the method of such a thought, the conception of the head of the house is turning from a man to a woman, and at the same time the status of the woman is being upraised. The peculiarity of the life pattern of the private house appeared from such background in CHEJUDO is as follows; First, the conception of a dwelling space moves from a large room to a small room.Second, the utilization of the dwelling space means a lot to a practical and functional point, and as the space of the room is enlarged and the negative warehouse is remoulded into a room, so they try to secure a necessary space of the room.By the way, notwithstanding a part's desire of change, the habit of life of the traditional private house remains as it was. But the custom of a main house and an outhouse is being disappeared. |
