A Study on the Performance Criterion of Premixed Mortar for Exterior Tile |
| Abstract |
This paper presents the performance criterion of premixed mortar for exterior tile. For this purpose, initial flow, water retention, unit weight of morta, bond strength etc, of premixed mortar were compared with those of plan mortar.Major results are as follows;1) Unit weight of mortar should be more than 1.80kg/l.2) Initial flow should be more than 160mm and less than 175mm.3) Flow variation should be less than 0.5%(when 30 minutes elapsed)and less than 3.0%(when 60 minutes elapsed).4) Water retention should be more than 65% and less than 75%.5) Bond strength should be more than 8kg/cm(when open time 0 minute, 28days elapsed)6) Open time should be more than 20 minutes. |
