| Abstract |
In spite of the long history of architectural history, there have been few studies on the interpretation and historiogaraphy of architecture. The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of architectural history and analyze its methodological tools. The way of wrighting architectural history has been changed pararrel to the change of epistemological foundation and historiography always involves in ideological premise. In conclusion, this study recognizes the main two tradition in architectural historiography and appreciates new trends of recent architectural history. |
