A Study on Flat Plates by Principal Stress |
Abstract |
The use of Flat Plate by irregular column layout is un avoidable to filling up the economical and practical need of structural design of modern architecture.Bending and torsion moment in plate are generally occured in 2-direction, so we can say the quantity of reinforcing bar is designed by bending moment when assuming that torsion is resisted by concrete.In general case, the quantity of reinforcing bar is proportion to bending moment because plate is treated as under reinforcement stucture. In investigation of bar quantity of plate, we can obtained more better result by observing change of principal stress that contained directions than similarity method.The pattern of this study is the case of irregular column layout forming traingle and nexagon plate with general quadrangle panel by Flat plate. Observation on the principal stress by F.E.M, in this study is to examine the stress behaviour and bar quantity change. |
