Abstract With formwork costs ranging up to 52% of the total cost of concrete work in the recent building constructions, the early removal and frequent reuse of forms have been required than ever before. The objective of this study is to suggest the minimum duration for the form removal within the basic limitations of safety and quality of construction. The findings of this study can be abstracted as followings;1)The vetical forms to columns, walls and large beams could be removed within 24 hours which is three days earlier than that of the minimum duration in the Standard Specification.2)The soffit forms to beams and slabs could be removed one or two days earlier than that of the minimum duration in the Standard Specifidation.
