Standard Colors for the Exterior Design of Architecture in Korea |
| Abstract |
The module in color will make the design of architectural color and the manufacture of architectural materials a lot easier, as did the module in dimension.Color standard here refers to a kind of module in colors. The proper provision of color standard to architects would guarantee the minimum desirable result in architectural color. With objective in mind, the anthors tried to select colors for the exterior color design of architecture that can be utilized in Korea.The selection is based on the result of the color measurement of 366 buildings' exterior in Korea. The anthors adopted "decreasing method of color differences" in this selection and finally 82 colors were selected as a proposal of the standard colors for the exterior design of architecture. |
