A Study on the Dwelling Behavior of Rural Area of Urban and Rural Youth |
| Abstract |
This paper analyzes the dwelling behavior of urban and rural youth. The purpose of the study is to investigate conditions that may result in more rural residents than now.Both urban and rural young residents evaluated the dwelling environment of urban and rural area. Through the evaluation, the factors for the settlement and the future rural residents, were clearly indentified. The findings are as follows;1)if some conditions are satisfied, people are willing to reside in rural area.2)the two major conditions are the improvement of public facilities and employment opportunities. Urban young residents tend to signify the former one, while rural young residents tend to emphasize the later as the settlement condition in rural area.3)the evaluation results reveal that the urban young residents are more satisfied with the rural environment than the rural young residents. Among the urban young residents, those who emigrated from rural area have strong intention to return and settle in rural area. It is recommended to pay attention to these future rural residents. |
