| Abstract |
The forms of Korean folk houses and villages in different regions show distinct characteristics which established their own boundary of housing culture. In the light of this the previous studies concerning Korean folk houses are required the examination of the total environmental setting in terms of the relationship between natural and socio-cultural environment.The purpose of this study is to investigate the characteristics of the folk houses corresponding to the relationship between houses and village.This study is mainly concerned with the historical background, the characteristics of the house type and the structure of the same family village, Oh Bong 1 Ri in Kang Weon Do. |
