An Experimental study on Mechanical Properties of Polyester Mortar |
| Abstract |
Blended Polyester systems have been added to mixes to improve the strength, modulus of elasticity and stress-strain curve of the cement mortar. As a result of these experiments, it is appeared to be most useful that adding the unsaturated polyester resin with 20 percent by weight of the mortar. At that time, the compressive, tensile, flexible strength exceeded respectively 700~800, 90~100, 220~230kg/cm, and the modulus of easticity were appeared 3.0~3.5X10kg/cm at 28 days. |
