| Abstract |
Korean modern houses should admit modern requirements and Korean climate and way of living, and they should be expressed through not only space concept but also form and design.The aim of this thesis is to find the direction of elevation planning of Korean modern houses, inquiring into design elements of Korean traditional houses in the view point of transformation and analyzing how the elements are represented in modern houses.In this volume, the design elements of Korean traditional houses are characterized by the period, and their receptions in modern houses will be analysed by case studies in the next. |
