| Abstract |
This study is about the possibility and limitation of architectural approach to the urban squatter settlement based on the analysis of non-architectural researches which are anthropology, geography and sociology. Especially Squatter Problem has been obstacles to the advanced architectural research for a long time because that problem is complexed with social and economic elements. So this study is mainly concerned with the systematic hierarchy of non-architectural researches and the possibility of architectural approach to that problem. As a result the future orientation of architectural program within the framework of total ststem will be suggested. |
