A Study on the Interior Color Usage in Housing |
| Abstract |
The importance of color planning in environmental design has been increased in terms of user's comfort and needs. Especially, interior color planning is needed to develop the quality of the home environment. This study as an experimental study for color planning attempts to find out the characteristics of interior color usage. For the purpose, the interior color usage of 47 detached houses in Pusan was investigated by dealing with hue, value and chroma of color. The findings of research indicate the color usage components consist of the hue and the tone factor, and the interior color usage is affected by interior finishing materials. |
