Abstract The object of this study is settled to recognize the status quo by means of the application of [Purkinje phenomenun] concerned with color-physiologically related human optic perception under the hypothesis that the different uses of exterior colors in regional houses could be assured by the difference of the numbers of clear days.The numbers of clear days of urban cities located between 34 and 36 in latitude shows regularly distributed from 69 days to 114 days and therefore the cities are determined suitable to survey the disparity in the use of exterior colors according to the difference in the numbers of clear days.The trends in the use of hues by the region turn out like these;the use frequency of the longwave sided hues of Red, Yellow-Red and Yellow is high at 90% in Pusan with 104 clear days and low at 38% in Kwangju with 69 clear days, on the contrary as to the short-wave sided hues of Yellow-Green, Green, Blue-Green and Blue, the use frequency shows low at 10% in Pusan and high 62% in Kwangju. In the other cities of Jinju, Namwon, Yiri and Kunsan, the use frequencies of the long or Short wave sied hues are showon up distributed in the linear correlation between Pusan and Kwangju.
