Recomments in Housing Policy and Solutions of Housing Problem with Housing Market Analysis |
| Abstract |
Of the many problems which we have been facing nowadays, the housing problem closely related to human life has been one of the supreme tasks in our society. The current housing policy means has not been considered the actual consumer's desire. Therefore, it is very difficult that the low-income household takes the opportunity to have their own houses. The top priority in Korea's housing policy is undoubtedly the partial disequilibrium in the housing service and worsening housing affordability.The results of this paper are summarized as below. First, The Korean real estate tax system comprises the transfer tax and land holding tax which are national taxes and series of local taxes. It has been uneffective as a market-machanism tool. Second, The relation between public and private role obscures the housing financial system. Third, Laws and regulation must be revised in the view point of housing stabilization and affordability improvement. Finally, The housing administration readjustment is considered as the local/central government. |
