Title |
A Study on the Architectural Planning of General Hospitals in Small-mid Sized Cities |
Abstract |
As the health insurance system is expanded to the national level and the medical reference system made the patients go to the big hospitals via small-mid sized hospitals near their living area, the number of patients who want to receive the medical benefits has increased explosivly in small-mid sized hospitals. Therefore, existing facilities must be renovated or expanded and new facilities must be built to meet the demand. However, reference sources available are mostly for a big general hospital. Thus, the small-mid sized hospitals should be researched. The purpose of this study is to acquire architectural designing data on the small-mid sized hospitals. The analysis was undertaken by surveying the data for the small-mid sized hospitals in the following catagories; 1)the usage of facilities: 2)the primary function of each of the indivisual department: 3)the physical space allotment of the respective department. The collected data was then compared with the data for the big general hospitals. |
