| Abstract |
One cannot ignore the leadership of Europe and America in the field of architecture, especially after the modern era. Thus, a study of American architecture is important to understand the current trends in architecture.The objective of this study lies in evaluating the current trends of architecture with respect the architectural theories and trends of the past.Methodologically, this study made a chronological study of American architectural works of the twentieth century, to analyze the basis, trends and historical background; evaluated architectural books and references of highly active architects of the 80's, looking into their planning, ideals and concepts. |
