Abstract Recent environmental pollution has had much malign influence upon the building constructions. In particular, The concrete products has been sharply decayed by the acid rain due to the environmental pollution. Therefore, The Study on the development of the building materials which maintains high durabulity, has been an urgent task.Many experimental reports has shown that polymer forms co-matrix in the cementation materials, changes the properties of the concrete, and makes the cementation material get some good effective durability.This study aims to elucidate the acid proof properties of the polymer composites by using normal portland cement and high early strength portland cement for the cementation materials, and SBR, EVA, PAE, for the polymer. After PCM which was made out of the cement and polymer mentioned above, was soaked in the 5% hydrochloric acid solution, material property experiment for it was carried out.As the result of experiment for PCM, its weight decrease ratio and compressive strength loss ratio were lower than those of unmodified cement mortar. And in the test of durability of freezing and thawing. PCM was proved a superior building material.
