| Abstract |
A survey has been done about architectural fims locating in Seoul, with the purpose that this survey could bring about the qualitative enhancement in the field of Korean architectural design and could give us the future directionsKangNamGu, SeoChoGu, SongPaGu have almost 40% of the architect's offices in Seoul. Design personnel are mostly in their 30's and their careers are 5 to 10 years with 23.6%. Small number of personnel and the burden of getting permissions on the personnel results in the insufficient of architectural work.Assigning a team from project to project is the method frequently used in the design process, and design and construction have little connectionsUsing computer aided design system is emerging as a major issue but still confined to structural design and shop drawing.The more active participation in the competitions and academic activities in encouraged. |
