| Abstract |
The paradigm in architectural design methodology has been changed through several phases. At first,it was established on the systematic approach based on process. Secondly, recognizing the limit in systematic approach and regarding architectural design as unscientific task,the methodologists shifted their concern to the nature of problem. And now, with the new concept on the scientific process which is borrowed from the philosophy of science, some of them are trying to rebuild the architectural design theory as a scientific one.In all phases,however,architectural design methodology seems to be only on the design process,not the purpose of design,as it were,on 'how'not'what' |
