| Abstract |
In this paper, the authors understood the urban residential alley space as 'a place'. Here, 'the alley society which contains residents' plural values was taken into consideration.In designing alley space in the residential area, it is recommended that not only physical designers and urban executive officers but also socialogists, psychologists and architects and residents themselves are urged to participate.The propertoes of alley spaces are approached and analyzed from the viewpoint of four levels; community, form, street furniture and street life. |
