Abstract This Study deals with the building style of the Buddhist Temple, in the middle period of the Cho-sun dynasty, mainly focused on the "Gong-Po" style of DAE-UNG-BO-JEON, at GAE-AM-SA in Puan-gun, Chollabuk-do.Especially, the DAE-UNG-BO-JEON at GAE-AM-SA, in spite of its excellence, has been regarded as no more than "Da-Po(the inter-columnar bracket cluster system) style of the middle period of the Choson dynasty", vaguely and briefly.So, this paper proceeds as following.Firstly, it is discussed on how to arrange the genealogy of "Gong-Po style" in traditional wooden architecture.And then studies some cases on the "Gong-Po style" in existing Buddhist Temples.Therefore, I can get a conclusion that it is presentation of the building style and decorating techniques of at that era, the middle period of the Cho-sun Dynasty.
