| Abstract |
The purpose of this study is to suggest new architectural design paradigm and design process model on the basis of the information processing theory in Artificial Intelligence and the results of experimental researches on the practical design process in Cognitive Psychology. The relevance of knowledge-based technology to architectural design is discussed and as a methodological framework for integrated CAD design expermentation the knowledge-based design system using black-board model is presented. |
