| Abstract |
A contractor in domestic construction project tends to be selected by the lowest price regardless of his constructioncapabilities in the bidding & contracting phase. The purpose of this study is to analyse the problem of present contract systems and suggest a rational alternatives. For selecting of competent contractor in the process of awarding, the construction capabilities of each contractor should be evaluated objectively using an evaluation model. The hierarchical decision model for evaluating construction capabilities in this paper involves contractor's financial stability, experience record, technical expertise, past performance. |
