| Abstract |
Le corbusier tried to search a new language of architecture based on observation of ocean liner. Later he described that it is new architectural forms; elememts both vast and intimate but on man's scale; freedom from the styles that stifle us; good contrast between the solids and voids; powerful masses and slender elements. For him it became paradigms for the new architecture. It was not only designed according to scientific principles, it also provided all the requisite of communal life. |
