Abstract |
The subject of this study is Diffusion and Formation of the head family in the clan village, in the Middle perioed of Cho-sun Dynasty.Most house present open plan due to geographical conditioon in this area "ㅁ" shaped house which closed residing forms located in SANGGU. This relates to the thoughts of the owner who built this house, rather than architectural characteristics on geographical classification by climate or heterogeneous phenomenon of cultural zone. This house was built affected by the psychology to preserve the head families of him and his wife in ANDONG area as YANGJINDANG and OJAKDANG, and SUAMJONGTAEK was built in mind of CHOONG HYO DANG built by RYU SUNG RYONG who is father of his anscester who settled in this village. These houses are considered to show the compound significance of the practice and the symbol which resulted from combination of cultural elements of two areas-ANDONG and SANGGU as SANGGU lies adjacent to ANDONG culture leaving NAKDONG river in between while SANGGU has limited influence of open element of southern area. Aa a way of respect to his famous anscester, plan of this house resembles to the original structure of ANDONG area and main structure takes open dispositon. |
