A Study on the Correlation Between Physical Parameters and Subjective Effect in the Room Acoustic Evaluation |
| Abstract |
It is very meaningful that we attempt to know the correlation between subjective data and objective parameters of the hall. For the subjective evaluation, music sources are recorded in and anechoic room, and those sources are reproduced through a loudsperker system on the stage of a hall. Those reproduced sounds are recorded stereophonically at each seat by the Head and Torso Simulator(HATS). Then the hearing tests for those reproduced sources are carried out with open-dynamic receiver to the subjects. Listener make preference judgements of musical quality in paired-comparision tests. And the raw preference data and objective parameters are analyzed by the Hierarchical Cluster Analysis. |
