An Dynamic Analysis of Box-Beam Used the Finite Element Method |
Abstract |
In building and bridge, ever greater use is being made girders which can be considered thin-walled closed section girders, i.e. box-beam because of their proportions, so I have studied box-beam used the finite element method. Natural phenomena and human activities such as the explosion of nuclear weapou or machinery vibration, etc. impose forces of time dependant variability on structures. In the dynamic analysis of multi degree-of-freedom system, eigenvalue problems which characterize the behaviour of vibration system and condensation methods which are used in reduction of the number of degree-fo-freedom are always occured. In several methods of solving eigenvalue problems, I have adopted the generalized Jacobi method that Wilson had developed. In reduction problems, I have adopted both static condensation and dynamic condensation method. In this finite element analysis, trianglar elements have been used. |
