In Korean primeval society, especially in Choson Dynasty (1392-1897), so-called 'Lineage Village' is the characteristic feature of rural settlements. This study has convestigated the social circumstances and forming stages of this type of settlements. And also found its own architectural specialities which is based on the inner structure and the relations to out-village society. |
