Abstract |
The finite element methods are used for the study on the relationship between elastic critical load and natural frequency of prismatic members with elastic supports. The relationship between two eigenvalues(elastic criticalload and natural frequency) is established by calculating the corresponding values of (W/Wn)2 through changing (P/Pcr)values.The results shows that the relationship between elastic critial load and natural frequency of prismatic members with elastic supports is P/P+(w/w)2=1 without regard to boundary conditions, rigidity of elastic supports, and number of elastic supports. |
