| Abstract |
The purpose of the environmental sculpture is to compose the formative space including the life and the art for citizens. There have been art objects related to buildings in Pusan by 1%, regulation. I tried to find the existing conditions and the viewers' responses of environmental sculptures throughout Pusan area.The characteristics of its form is voluminal, cubic, and vertical. Numerous sculptures are located near the entrances of buildings. The method of the color harmony is the contrast of different colors. The angle of viewing points is parallel in many sculptures.The attitudes of viewers are positive toward environmental sculptures.They like the objects which are bright, large, abstract, easy to be identified, and located in open spaces. |
