| Abstract |
This article studies the application(utilization) of the results of the Environment-Behavior research (POE) into the design of the Human Environment focusing on the behavioral psychological phenomena.The objective of this study is to discover how the built and occupied environment performs; to determine possible misfits; to comprehend the needs of the residents of highrise housing; to examine the relationships between Environmental Evaluation Elements and Satisfaction; and to accumulate information for future programming and design.The importance of this study is to suggest the design guidelines which should be considered in planning and designing the housing environment based on the results obtained through POE. |
