Abstract This study investigate the Strength Properties of Polymer-modified Cement Mortars(PCM) by using ordinary portland cement, high early strength portland cement and ultra high early strength portland cement for the cementation materials, and SBR Latex, PAE, EVA for the polymer. And so, the test of water reducing ratio, compressive strength and flexural strength were accomplished with various polymer-cement ratio (P/C) (0,5,10,15,20%), polymer type(SBR Latex, PAE, EVA) and three kind of cements. The results obtained from the tests were summerized as follows:1.Polymer-modified cement mortar is more effective in the workability than unmodified cement mortar(UMM) regardless of any type of polymer dispersion. The increase of P/C ratio has brought a higher effectiveness of workability.2.According to the increment of P/C ratio, the mechanical properties are more improved than those of unmodified cement mortar.3.According to the increment of P/C ratio, the degree of flexural strength had a tendency to increase. But, compressive strength did hardly affected.4.The estimated value of compressive strength was about 4.5 times that of the flexural strength.
