The main concern of this thesis is on the historiography of Modern architecture. With a view point that the history of writing history can reveal the change of epistemological base and methodology in architecture, this study reviews the transformation of main problematics and ideologies in Modern architecture as time goes by. Three phases can be found in the historiography of Modern Architecture by their different interparetations and evaluations. |
