A Fundamental Study on Structural Behavior of Reinforced Concrete Beams with Braided High Strength Carbon Fiber Rods in Main Bar |
Abstract |
Recently, the FRP absorb in resin of continious high-steel bar for the purpose to improve durablity, be high strength and electromagnetism of concrete frames have been investigated many kind of study for concrete reinforcement. Carbon fiber in chamical properties is low heat resistant, little plastic deformed degree and brittlity ability under repeated variable load, but strength of carbon fiber is three or four times as strong as that of steel bar. Therefore this paper makes use of the merits of carbon fiber and makes an analysis that load-deflection, load-strain, ultimate strength under flexure, flacture forms of structure behavior of carbon fiber concrete beams and reinforced concrete beams in a s = af(case 1), syas= fyaf(case 2) and I have obtained the basical data that be able to substitute steel bar for carbon fiber. |
