Title |
A Study on the Site Layout of Hunguk-sa in Yeocheon |
Abstract |
Hunguk-sa was established by Bojo-guksa in 1196. At the time of the japanese Invasion of Chosun in 1592, Hunguk-sa was largely constuucted as Jinju-sa, the temple of Buddhist army post. From that time to 19c the constructions of buildings have been promoted actively. Therefore most of the remained buildings constructed in those days show the architectural characteristics prevalent in the late period of Chosun Dynasty. |
