A Study on the Survey and Evaluation of Color Distribution of the Urban Building |
| Abstract |
The purpose of the experiment performed is to present the alternative solution by means of the survey and the analysis on colour distribution.4 districts in Taejon, thus, are choosed for the greater effects impression of city image.On the basis upon the consequence of field survey, the colour of building exterior is summarized in short as follows.(1) The hues of warm colours, R,YR,Y,and GY, distribute on the building exterior performed on survey of 4 districts, and high value of 8.0-9.5 and low chroma 1.0-2.0 are prevailed.(2) The colour distribution of the districts is included in the terms of dishammony from the results of adaption to the priciple of modifying colour harmmoy.(3) It is noticed most building stand at random without the consideration of colour harmmony well matched beside the border of attached building from the results of anaysis on colour image using lab colour differences.From the survey, It is recommanded to rehabitalize the colour image of building exterior in the city, and in consequence, more obstinate code formats of new building exterior standing in lines on the main street, Jung-Ang, must be considered to satify colour accordance. |
