| Abstract |
This paper is a part of study of architecture and courtesy in the Chosun Dynasty. The purpose of this is to make clear the principles of constructual method and the theoretical background through the order of courtesy on each direction.The studing method is to grasp the Confucianist's thought pattern and the hierarchical order of thought through documentation. And then, according to the results, the architectural characters based on courtesy in Chosun Dynasty period are examined.The order of directional courtesy on distinction of Yin-Yang is roles as the principles of spatial organization in the Chosun Dynasty Architecture. |
