| Abstract |
Sixteen reinforced concrete beams with opening were tested in shear strength under two points loading. The length of square's opening put 0.2,0.3 and 0.4 times of beam depth, diameter of circular opening and they was changed with the methods and presence and absence of reinfoecement.Then conclusions were drawn like the followings;1. the square's opening beam with horizontal and vertical reinforcements is stronger and simpler in work than the circular opening beam with ring reinforcement under 0.3D of opening size.2. It is desireable that the size of square's opening is under 0.4D.Forword, I will systematically study about reinforced concrete beams with rectangular opening. |
