| Abstract |
The purpose of this paper is to overcome the difficulties involved in the integrated computer based design system. The study model is limited to the high-rised apartment structures of shear wall type, and is restricted within the fields of architectural planning and structure.A series of these studies are to perform more effective design process through integrated design system. The study draws following conclusion:(1) The developed method can be utilized with alternative analysis and design scheme through CAD systems and common database contributed to save man-hours and reduce errors which might result from manual process.(2) The relational database is appropriate to manage the data which are required in modeling the structures, structural analysis and design, drafting, preparing the bills of materials and reporting process.(3) The produced data are consistant in each step and so, the developed integrating system shows very effective process compared to manual process. |
